 | Social Planning, Policy and Program Administration provides planning, research and evaluation leadership in the operationalization of the goals and mission of Social Services. Social Planning, Policy and Program Administration seeks to support people and strengthen communities by identifying and responding to community needs, providing direct support to the community, analyzing social trends and developing social policy responses, social planning and system modeling, the administration of purchase of service agreements and grants (emergency shelter, domiciliary hostels, therapeutic counselling).
Social Planning, Policy and Program Administration has responsibility for the administration of provincial homelessness programs (Supports to Daily Living, Off the Street/Into Shelter, Homelessness Initiative Fund), the Emergency Food Hamper Program and Community Outreach Program. |
Social Planning, Policy and Program Administration also provides planning leadership in the operationalization of the goals and mission of the Emergency Response Plan and the Ontarians with Disabilities Act Accessibility Plan.
Social Planning, Policy and Program Administration; also provides planning leadership and support for the interdepartmental endeavour called Human Services Planning which is a new initiative included within the Regional Growth Management Strategy and identified in Regional Council's Strategic Plan.
