I just want to get online and do some business quickly. I don't want to go through the community pages. What are my options?

You can use the search engine on the top of the home page and every other page. You could check the quick links at the bottom of the home page.

I don't understand the idea of four separate home pages.

People have different reasons for using the Region of Waterloo Web site. The needs and interests of visitors are very different from those of residents, or people who do business in the Region. Some people use the Web site only as a means of accessing the Regional Council and Administration, others want to quickly download a specific form. The new design works like a set of four doorways to Regional services and information. You choose the door that suits your individual perspective. Once you enter, you have quick access to everything inside and you can easily switch from one community page to another. Some of the services appear in more than one area.

Why can't I see the whole screen? Some of the images on the right only show a little bit.

The site was designed to be viewed within an 800 X 600 screen. If your monitor is set for 640 X 480, you may have to scroll to the right to view content on the right-hand side of the screen.
