The Water Services Division is pleased to provide its Water Quality Reports for Consumers as required by the Drinking Water Protection Regulation. The reports show that the drinking water supplied by the Region and the area municipalities is safe and has met all the health-related Ontario Drinking Water Standards. Throughout the reports, readers will find useful information related to water quality in Waterloo Region. As required by the Ministry of the Environment, reports were prepared quarterly for the period July 1, 2000 to March 31, 2003. The first annual report (issued on February 28, 2004) covers the period April 1 to December 31, 2003. Beginning in 2004, annual reports cover the complete calendar year. Copies of the reports are available by calling 519-575-4426 or can be picked up at Regional Headquarters, Water Services Division, located at 150 Frederick Street, 7th floor, Kitchener.
