The Region of Waterloo is considered a leader in actively promoting water efficiency programs to our residents!

As the region grows, the demand for drinking water will grow. The cost of treating water to make it potable, or drinking quality, is enormous. If we can conserve water in our homes, this cost can be reduced.

Do you know your household’s water wasters?

Up to 29 per cent of water in our home is flushed down the toilet. The washing machine is the second largest user of water indoors.
